The 2025 ACEM Meeting is taking place on 25th & 26th June in Ghent Belgium
Instead of our traditional one day meeting we have planned two days of talks.
Wednesday 25th June will be the traditional ACEM day. There will be no renal day at PathSoc this year, however I hope you will find the ACEM programme has plenty of renal content to balance this. You will see from the programme below that we have invited a wide range of speakers.
Thursday 26th June will be a launch event in celebration of the publication of the 5th edition of Ultrastructural Pathology of the Cell and Matrix by FN Ghadially. The new edition has been planned and edited by Bart Wagner, whom many of you will know.
The task has been many years in the making and we plan to gather most of the chapter authors to deliver short talks on their specialist areas. We are especially delighted to welcome Professor Ruby Ghadially, the daughter of FNG himself to speak to us about her father and his legacy.
Bart and his co-editor John Stirling will be present to celebrate this great achievement – which will be appreciated by today’s diagnostic EM community as well as future scientists.
Early bird discount is available until the end of May. Remember, if you are a BMS or technician, and a member of PathSoc (just £10 per year) you can get the discounted Member concessionary rate.
As always, the opportunity of being gathered together can be used to have a difficult and interesting cases discussion. Please feel free to use this opportunity to ask any questions – If you would like, you can send me images and questions in advance.
We will have a meal with the speakers and chairs at a local restaurant on Wednesday evening to which you are all invited. Could you please let Patricia Goggin know if you are attending and would like to be included in the booking?
